try ebay or consignment shop or even look in your local paper….
Craigslist, Ebay. Consignment shops, or Ebay. You can also look in the yellowpages or talk to a bridal salon and go to one of those places that rents wedding gowns. They may even be willing to let you rent one of theirs.
Finding a “wedding gown” in a plus size for that much is going to be pretty hard. Look at all the after prom sales for white dresses or look at white bridesmaids dresses. Some of them can be just as elaborate and half the price because the word “wedding” is not involved.
My friend found one at JC Penny Outlet in Columbus Ohio. Don’t know where your from or if you have any of those in your area.
Start by looking at yard sales, ads in papers. Good luck dress hunting.
Check Goodwill and Salvation Army. They have beautiful dresses sometimes for about $25, and all they need is cleaning. The other options are eBay or Craig’s list. Also, you can check David’s Bridal for clearance–sometimes they have dresses for $99. Good luck!
Oh wow, um, you can TRY eBay, but they may not get it to you in time.
Call around to various thrift stores–many actually do have them! I have seen many at both Goodwill and Salvation army, and some thrift stores specialize in them.
Also, if you are interested, you can just get a nice white bridesmaid’s dress. They won’t be fancy-fancy, but they still look like wedding dresses and are FAR less expensive than wedding gowns. David’s Bridal, Jessica McClintock, and Group USA, to name a few, may have something for you.
Good luck!
David’s bridal stores are your only real hope. They give discounts and sometimes just have some dresses on sale. My bridesmaids dresses at DB cost only 79.99 and come in size 2-24 i believe. So just visit any local DB store. To locate one go to Davidsbridal.com.
EBAY! or a thrift store.
What size do you need? If you elaborated that, I could give you a few links.

they have some under $250 for designer dresses.
http://www.target.com has some wedding dresses (not sure that you’d get them within 10 days)
Marshal Fields, Bloomingdales, ect. I found mine at Nordstroms for $26. (Clearence) It was beautiful too. Be creative. Or buy material, and bring it to a taylor, and see what he/she can do for you.
internet= (craigslist, e-bay) , rent one, thrift shop ( you’d be suprised) Rent something from a costume shop again you’d be suprised at what they have avaliable. They frequently do custom work and alternations alot more inexpensively and quickly than a bridal shop. Good Luck and Congratulations… I bought a non-traditional dress at a local dress shop and have worn it to other occasions. You may want something more traditional. Then again if your budget is tight you might want to buy a dress you can wear again.
garage sales, davids bridal, dream weavers, and theirft stores.
david’s bridal have dresses for 99 dollars and up
unfortunately just due to the fact that the grown is plus size it may cost a lil more because they have to use more material…good luck
try ebay if david bridal is not an option for you
eBay is a great place to look. And right now David’s Bridal is advertising their $99 Bridal sale. Many of those dresses are beautiful and they offer a wide variety of sizes. I have a dress for sale, size 20, but I’m asking $350 ( I paid over $700 for it). It’s brand new, I never wore it. I ended up getting another gown at the last minute. It came from Alfred Angelo but for some reason the EXACT same dress is on Maggie Sottero’s site. I still haven’t figured that one out. Congrats and Good luck!!
What size. I got one i’d sell to ya right now.
Wall-Mart.
Ome way to go is to get a bridemaidss dress most of the time no one will know unless you tell them. shop around most places will have them right around your price rang. here is one site i found.

You could try JCPenny.com, if you are looking for a simpler dress. They usually have plus sizes and a decent variety.
This link is one in a plus size for only $120. They ship fast also.

Also, I knew a friend who decided she did not want to wear white, but instead she wore pale pink. She was plus size and got her dress for only $75. It was one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever seen.
You really do just have to be creative. I will tell you this, I bought mine at David’s Bridal (I spent about $400 though, but it was an $800 dress) and they were just lovely to work with. I am sure you will find something just gorgeous and God Bless you and your marriage. Congrats!
Target is now selling very inexpensive wedding dresses. Check out their website. They are very simple, but pretty. You could also give a resale shop a try. That’s where I got my dress and it is beautiful. As others have suggested, give David’s Bridal a try. They usually have a good selection of dresses on the sales rack. Another suggestion is to look at some formal dress stores in the mall. They may have some good deals. Camille la Vie Bridal is a good bet if they have one near you: http://www.camillelavie.com/index.cfm/.
I would be hesitant to get something online even though it can be a very good option at times. Since you need it so soon, you don’t want to risk the uncertainty of shipping and it possibly not fitting.
Good luck and get shoppin’!
Okay I have a few, but in general you need to go up to at least $200. You didn’t say what size of plus…so I just figured on a size 18 and up.
