How would you get a booth setup at a bridal show?
My wife has a cake business. It is just starting and I am wanting to help her drum up business. I know that there will be at least a few bridal shows coming up this Spring. Who do I contact to get into that show? It is in the Peoria, IL area if that helps (Peoria Civic Center). I have looked at the Civic Center website and attempted to google “Bridal shows” and have come up with little results.
There are a lot of bridal shows in Chicago, have you looked at those? At most bridal shows, bakeries have at least three decorated wedding cakes to exhibit. They also hand out small samples of different flavored wedding cakes in tiny plastic cups. Make sure your wife introduces herself to other wedding vendors for possible referrals.
