Alabama is probably less costly then where I live in CA but it really just depends on how upscale you’re going. Beaches around here & water front restaurants can be pretty high like around $120/pp without alcohol or any extras. That’s just for the reception. The beach itself is done by permit for like $150 but everyone has to stand because no seating is allowed. Check the actual website for the City you’re doing it in because in my area, they all differ from cost to rules, etc.

All you really need to do is look up the permit fee for the beach, then start getting pricing from local restaurants & make sure you ask about parking because in my area it’s horrible. Valet is $10-$20 per person at any restaurant that’s ocean front.

A total guesstimate would be maybe $2,000 for something simple but you’ll need to figure in more costs for your Officiant, photographer, videographer, florist, alcohol, etc. depending on how you want everything done.

I’m concerned that you don’t list catering as one of your main expenses or is that included in “venue?”

Check with the venue. I’m sure they’ve done many beach weddings and can give you an estimate. The main expense is going to be the catering, which can be simple or extravagant depending on what you decide to feed your guests.
